Genetron® 134a is a HFC, used in automotive air conditioning (in cars manufactured before the 1st of January 2017), in pharmaceutical and as a replacement for R12 and R22 in refrigeration applications.
The widely accepted replacement for R134a in automotive is R1234yf.
